This Contract must be signed and delivered to the BAC when art work is
delivered. Art work will not be accepted without this accompanying form.

PREPARATION AND DELIVERY: All two-dimensional artwork must be professionally presented, ready for hanging (wire only). All three-dimensional artists are encouraged to bring pedestals - a limited number are available at the arts center. Art work delivered without proper framing or wiring will be returned. Art work will only be accepted during the designated delivery times and date (see below). No off-time drop offs will be accepted.
SPACE GUIDELINES : Two-dimensional works must not exceed 4' if hung horizontally - with no more than three pieces of art work that can be hung in a horizontal line. Up to (3) three-dimensional pieces will be accepted. Artist may NOT exhibit more than a total of three pieces of art (this includes combining three-dimensional and two-dimensional works).
A. Each Artist is responsible for arranging for delivery
and pick-up of his/her artwork.
B. The Members' Show Committee will hang the
show, with placement of art work at their discretion.
C. A Public Reception
with refreshments will be provided by the Becket Arts Center on Saturday,
August 18 from 1 - 4pm.
D. Every
effort will be made to insure the security of the gallery. However, the
Becket Arts Center does NOT carry any insurance for artwork - therefore,
it is understood that all Artists are exhibiting their work at their own
risk. In addition, the Becket Arts Center will be held harmless and not
responsible for fire, theft or damage to any artwork.
E. A 20% commission
is charged by the Becket Arts Center on all works sold at the Center. NOTE:
This commission will be limited to a maximum of $500 per artist.
NOTE: Upon delivery of art work on Tuesday 8/14, entrants will be required to complete FOUR fill-in information cards specifying Artist, Title, Media, and Price. F ill-in cards may be picked up in advance at BAC and are on our website www.becketartscenter.org. 1) to be attached to work . 2) to present to exhibition chair 3) to present to administrative assistant 4) to hold to be presented at pick-up of art work.
DELIVER ART: Tuesday, August 14 Time: 1-3pm / 4-6pm
PICK-UP ART: Tuesday, August 28 Time: 10 - 6pm
PUBLIC RECEPTION: Saturday, August 18 Time: 1 -
4pm
