For the fourth year in a row (and its second at the Washington Town Park) the Hilltown Brouhaha rolls into town on Saturday, July 13. The day-long community gathering will feature music, vendors and artisans with one-of-a-kind creations, new “Treasure in the Trunk” items, the Becket Athenaeum’s annual book sale, great food, and much more. Plus, the fun continues in the evening at the Becket Firemen’s Pavilion with a family-friendly event featuring food, Wandering Star Brewery’s beer, and local country rock band Whiskey City. Families Dance Together
This intergenerational class brings adults and children together to discover the joy of movement and dance. Led by Pillow Artist-Educator Jeff Bliss in the Bakalar Studio at Jacob’s Pillow Dance, this one-hour class is a unique opportunity for families to create simple dances inspired by images and music.
Meet at the Tea Garden at 4:45 PM to sign in. Weather permitting, attend the free Inside/Out outdoor performance at 6:15 PM. Pre-registration is recommended, as space is limited. Children ages 4-18 must be accompanied by an adult. Late arrivals will be allowed at the discretion of the instructor.
Fees: $7 per adult, $4 per child (Please note that Becket Arts Center does not collect this money. Please bring correct change on the day of the event.)

Becket-Washington School Partnership
Every year, students from Becket-Washington School create beautiful art works for our spring exhibition: Becket-Washington School Exhibition.

Becket Athenaeum Community Partnership
Becket Arts Center partners with Becket Athenaeum to provide arts and literature resources to the community.
Becket Arts Center and Becket Athenaeum co-sponsor the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation grant-funded Winter Evening Adult Workshop Series at the Athenaeum - running from February – April and September – December . The BAC's Marty Lasker Lecture Series and various workshops in the summer complete the year-round offerings to residents and visitors alike.
Becket Day Camp Community Partnership
Becket Arts Center partners with Becket Day Camp to provide summer camp programs that feature full days of activities.
In the morning, campers attend one of our fabulous art camp programs, with tuition provided by art teachers from the community. In the afternoons, campers may participate in regular outdoor camp activities.
