Session 1: July 8-12, 2019

Arts Camp Program for Ages 5-8

Beyond Paper and Pencil
We will open our minds and our art to the many ways artists and craftspeople add beauty to the world.
We will learn fiber arts like weaving and yarn art, and use recycled and natural materials. We will make prints, create jewelry, and learn about color during our week of art making and discovery. Reading and looking at books is an important part of the week’s activities.

Arts Camp Program for Ages 9-13

Paint, Draw, and More!
Experiment with paint, pencil, charcoal, pastels, and craypas to create lively and imaginative work. Explore the creation of colorful still life, expressive portraits, and your own vibrant imagination.

Have a full-day camp experience with the arts camp in the morning and a traditional day camp experience in the afternoon with activities, such as such as swimming, canoeing, climbing, hiking and sports.

Session 2: August 12-16, 2019

Arts Camp Program for Ages 5-8

From 2D to 3D
We will make art in two and three dimensions, mixing media, combining painting and sculpture, and looking to nature, and art traditions and history. We will use what we learn to create our own interpretations of the world around us. Reading and looking at books is an important part of the week’s activities.

Printmaking Fun!
Cut your own linoleum block and experiment with multiple ways of printing it.

Becket Day Camp Collaboration

Half Day Experience - 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Art Program Only

Drop off: Becket Day Camp (8:00 - 9:00AM)
Pick up: Becket Day Camp (12:30 - 1:00 PM)

$135 – per week/student for members
$160 – per week/student for non-members
$75 – per week/student for full time Berkshire County residents*

Full Day Experience - 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Art Program & Becket Day Camp

Drop off: Becket Day Camp (8:00 - 9:00 AM)
Pick up: Becket Day Camp (4:00 - 5:00 PM)

$295 – per week/student for non-members**
Transportation is available to and from Becket Day Camp along specified bus routes before and after the full day program - $65
