Show Prospectus

The Becket Arts Center is collaborating with Q-MoB to shine a spotlight on the LGBTQ+ art community of the Berkshires. There is no theme for this show, we want to see the diversity among the LGBTQ+ artists of our community, so show your work in whatever form it takes!

The diverse jury who will be selecting artwork for the exhibit includes: Sean McCusker, Becket Arts Center Exhibits Curator; Nuri Hed, Executive Director of Seeing Rainbows, a trans-led Arts Organization; Joe Goodwin, a well known Berkshire artist; Jay Santangelo, a longtime photographer and owner of Wander Berkshire; & Jason Vivori, long-time LGBTQ+ community organizer & Collections Manager at the Berkshire Museum.

Eligibility: Open to all LGBTQ+ artists 18 and over. Artists must not have shown more than 5 similar works at the Becket Arts Center in the past two years. Artists are responsible for delivery and return of their work. All work must be original work produced by the artist submitting the application, reproductions are prohibited. Work displayed must not have been shown at Becket Arts Center in the past two years (2024 or 2025). All work must be offered for sale unless agreed upon by the Art Curator. Artists will receive 75% commission of the sale price of all artworks and the Becket Arts Center will retain a 25% commission. All work must be ready to be displayed; wired for hanging artwork (no sawtooth hangers). Pedestals are provided for three-dimensional artwork with a maximum footprint of 30” x 16”.
