Following up with her BAC gallery presentation of “Form, Fact, and Fragment”, (May 28- June 21), Diane is offering an opportunity to have an introductory class to her world of her drawings and coloring, using black and white prints of her works as a basis. Come join her as she leads us in a meditative and creative exercise that brings us back to our earlier days when we first experienced coloring books. The curvilinear lines and contours are suggestions…you are given 3 prints to explore your possibilities, your colors, your own inner imagination. (You can also just turn them over for your designs). There is enough repetition in the design and flowing lines that following the contours can loosen your hand and comfortably be relaxing to you. Diane will be bringing Prismacolor Premium pencils (or bring your own favorite pens or pencils).
