Good writing requires the same storytelling skills whether your interest is fiction, non-fiction, memoir or scripts.
In the first week of this two-session class, we'll examine principles of good story telling and do in-class writing exercises designed to heighten the way you convey key elements.
In the second week, July 1, role playing as editors, agents and general readers who have never met you, using the principles we discussed in week one, we'll analyze work by class members who pre-submit a minimum of 5 and maximum of 20 double spaced pages beginning their work of fiction, non-fiction or memoir. IT MUST BE THE BEGINNING. There's no requirement to submit work to join the class. Maximum number of class members who can submit work is 6.
Fee for attending BOTH workshops without submitting work $100
Extra fee to submit work for analysis $100
